Edelman Trust Survey: Government Trust Surpasses Business for First Time

A SAP Concur blog post cites the Edelman Trust Barometer finding that governments became the world's most trusted institutions for the first time in 20 years, with trust rising 11 points since January to 63% and trust in government leaders up 13 points. Business and NGOs each scored 62%, while news media rose to 55%. The survey recommends business leaders fortify trust by putting employees first, clarifying mission and making leadership visible.
