IATA WSOC 2026 to Focus on the Human Edge in Aviation Safety

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that the 2026 World Safety and Operations Conference (WSOC) will focus on the human elements in keeping aviation safe and resilient, under the theme 'Performance Through People'. The event will take place from 6-8 October in Istanbul, Türkiye, hosted by Turkish Airlines. Four tracks—Safety, Cabin Operations, Operations and Crisis Management—will explore the theme, complemented by workshops covering geopolitical risk and people performance, human-centred safety, future-proofing aviation safety talent, emergency response planning and the IATA Turbulence Aware Forum.
