    FCDO advises against all but essential travel to parts of Ecuador

    The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) updated its Ecuador travel advice, advising against all but essential travel to several coastal provinces and areas within 20km of the Ecuador-Colombia border, while airside transit at Guayaquil Airport is unaffected. Ecuador's government declared a 60-day state of emergency from 15 September across eight provinces, increasing police and military presence, with a midnight-to-5am curfew in El Oro, Guayas, Los Rios and Manabi from 17 to 30 September.

    UK FCDO Updates Trinidad and Tobago Travel Advice, Removes State of Emergency Information

    The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) updated its Trinidad and Tobago travel advice on 21 September 2026.
