oneworld expands multi-airline digital check-in service

On October 14, 2026, according to Pinchain Tourism, the airline alliance oneworld announced it will expand digital check-in for multi-airline itineraries to all member airlines within the alliance. Passengers can scan their passport, obtain a boarding pass and save it to an electronic wallet through a simplified process. The service applies to flights operated by oneworld member airlines within an itinerary, regardless of which airline actually operates the first flight segment. oneworld also plans to support codeshare itinerary check-in and dynamically updated real-time boarding passes in the future.
