On October 10, 2026, Tuniu released its latest booking data, showing that autumn off-peak travel is heating up after the National Day holiday ended. Users traveling domestically to enjoy autumn scenery accounted for nearly 60%, with destinations such as Beijing, Nanjing, and Shangrao ranking high in popularity. Because this year's Double Ninth Festival coincides with a weekend, travel is expected to last from October 16 to October 18, with bookings for mountain-climbing scenic spots such as Huangshan, Qingcheng Mountain, and Sanqingshan being more popular. Outbound off-peak travel is mainly long-haul in-depth travel in Europe, with travelers aged 50 and above accounting for more than 50% of trips.
