Multiple places opened government agency parking lots and canteens during the National Day holiday

During the 2026 National Day holiday, multiple places introduced convenience measures to serve tourists. According to an October 9 report by China Tourism News, places such as Xianyang, Hanzhong, Jingdezhen, and Foshan opened government agency parking lots free of charge; government canteens in places such as Hongcun in Huangshan and Qinyuan in Changzhi opened to tourists with affordable meals such as 5-yuan breakfasts and 8-yuan lunches. Places such as Heilongjiang, Baoding, and Qilian added convenience service points and free buses. The report said Qilian County received 221,000 tourist visits during the holiday, and on October 3 more than 100,000 people poured in, causing all hotels and homestays in the county to be fully booked. Currently, the measures in various places have ended with the conclusion of the holiday, and the report did not mention follow-up arrangements.
