Emburse client summer accommodation demand growth slows

On October 9, 2026, expense management company Emburse said that year-over-year growth in accommodation room nights for its 586 U.S.-headquartered client organizations slowed sharply: from 21.4% in Q1 2026 to 11.9% in Q2, and only 1.7%, 3.3% and 1.9% in June, July and August respectively. The report did not mention the reason for the slowdown or the subsequent trend.
