Amap Tutu Robot Dog Debuts on Duty at Sands Macao Resort

On October 10, 2026, Alibaba Group's Amap and Sands China held an appointment ceremony at The Venetian Macao's NBA House, officially delivering the first batch of embodied robot dogs, Amap Tutu, to provide tour guide services within Sands China's resorts. Amap also provided all-domain indoor navigation for the resort by combining spatial information such as floors, passages, shops, and public facilities, and built 3D spatial models of some areas, allowing visitors to adjust their viewing angle for an immersive preview through the Amap App. During the 11-hour service period on the first day, Tutu completed 214 autonomous guidance instances, answered 4,546 questions, and traveled more than 40 kilometers autonomously.
