Guangzhou received 16.05 million tourist visits during the National Day holiday

The Guangzhou Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau announced on October 7 that during the National Day holiday, Guangzhou received a cumulative 16.05 million tourist visits and achieved total cultural and tourism consumption of 14.5 billion yuan, up 5.5% and 5.9% year-on-year respectively. The city launched more than 2,000 cultural and tourism activities, and the 35 cultural tourism scenic spots included in monitoring received nearly 8.99 million tourist visits in total. The 19th China International Comics Festival, held from October 2 to 5, received more than 450,000 tourist visits, with visitors from outside the province accounting for more than 46%.
