Beijing issues the "15th Five-Year" Culture and Tourism Development Plan

On September 28, 2026, the Beijing Municipal Government issued the "Beijing '15th Five-Year' Period Culture and Tourism Development Plan." The plan proposes that by 2030, a world-class tourism city and global tourism destination will be basically completed, and by 2035, fully completed. The plan deploys key tasks such as polishing the golden historical and cultural name card of Beijing's Central Axis, showcasing the elegance of the three cultural belts, building four major cultural and tourism vitality zones, and creating new multi-area cultural and tourism zones. At present, the plan has been officially issued, and the related goals and tasks have entered the implementation stage.
