U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) data show U.S. airlines carried 87.5 million systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service passengers in June 2026, down 1.4% year on year and 2.5% below the all-time June high of 89.7 million in 2024. Domestic passengers totalled 75.5 million and international 12 million. Seasonally adjusted, June enplanements fell 0.4% from May and 3.7% below the all-time high reached in June 2024. BTS notes the data may be revised and are statistical observations, not real-time passenger counts.
