“大城小聚” 小红书邀你“遇见”
Starting October 24, 2026, Xiaohongshu held a week-long "Big City, Small Gatherings" city-themed event at Beijing Shougang Park, featuring four segments: an interactive exhibition, a market, a music festival, and offline exchange meetings. On October 26, the event's first "City Living Room" exchange meeting was held in Beijing, where guests from local cultural tourism, cultural operations, media, and academia discussed how cities can move from "internet-famous" to "lastingly popular." Subsequent reports said this was the first time in Xiaohongshu's 13 years of existence that it had held a large-scale city-themed event in Beijing. Platform data shows that during this year's National Day holiday, searches on Xiaohongshu for experience-based travel such as handicrafts, heritage-site visits, and outdoor activities grew 48% quarter-on-quarter; subsequent reports added that this growth rate was 1.6 times that of check-in-style travel, and that the search growth rate for county-level destinations was 2.8 times that of the overall travel market; Xiaohongshu said it has 260,000 travel creators with more than 1,000 followers, an average of 21 million new travel notes added per month, 80% of users search on the platform before traveling, and more than 160,000 developers are active on the platform. Changzhou, leveraging the popularity of the "Su Super League," launched a "ticket stub economy"; according to estimates, 1 yuan spent on a match ticket can drive 7.3 yuan in surrounding consumption.
