内蒙古大兴安岭的“绿色蜕变”
The Inner Mongolia Greater Khingan key state-owned forest region, after more than a decade since a full logging ban, is advancing a "green transformation," shifting from a raw-logging-material base to ecotourism and ecological enrichment of residents. According to a report on November 3, 2026, from the end of 2014 to the end of 2024, the forest region's forest stock volume increased by 226 million cubic meters, a gain of 28.1%. In the past two years, the Inner Mongolia Forest Industry Group has invested more than 1.3 billion yuan to upgrade tourism infrastructure, building one 5A-level scenic area and three 4A-level scenic areas. As of October 7, this year's total tourism revenue exceeded 100 million yuan, up about 33% year on year.
