12306 adds group ticket contact information query feature

Starting October 26, 2026, the Railway 12306 client (including the website) added a "group ticket business contact information query" feature. Passengers can search in the client's "Warm Service" section and the website's "Information Query" section for group ticket handling stations, office phone numbers and business hours. Groups of 20 or more passengers traveling with the same departure date, train number, departure station, arrival station and seat class, and inquiring 3 days or more before departure, can contact the nearest station by phone for consultation; group ticket handling stations continue to accept applications on site, making it convenient for study tours, performances, sports events and other groups to purchase tickets together. An October 27 report said the feature had gone online and was running, and that station staff can provide ticket purchase consultation and handling services for eligible group passengers; a follow-up report on October 29 reconfirmed the above feature and handling conditions, and said that group centralized ticket purchases for study tours, performances, sports events and similar groups are now more convenient.
