India launches National Digital Tourism Stack

Reported on October 3, 2026, India's Ministry of Tourism and ONDC this week launched the National Digital Tourism Stack, aimed at connecting tourism businesses such as homestays, guides, attractions, experiences and transport. The system is planned to be implemented in phases: a pilot in January 2027, and wider rollout from July 2027. The report said a large amount of India's tourism supply remains scattered across websites, social media and offline channels.
