IHG's open hotels in Europe exceed 1,000

On October 22, 2026, IHG Hotels & Resorts announced that its open hotels in Europe had exceeded 1,000. According to a message published by IHG Newsroom that day, it added more than 210 net hotels over the past three years, with system size growing by more than 25%; there are currently more than 280 hotels under construction in Europe, and since the beginning of 2024, 36 brands have entered new European countries for the first time. IHG recently completed the acquisition of the Ruby brand and launched its 21st brand, Noted Collection, which has already signed 7 hotels globally.
