Travel + Leisure acquires Texas ranch to build outdoor hotel

On October 26, 2026, Travel + Leisure Co. announced the acquisition of The Cedars Ranch in Wimberley, Texas, and plans to convert it into Eddie Bauer Adventure Club – Texas Hill Country, making it the brand's first "Outpost," expected to open in summer 2027. This is the outdoor hospitality brand's first entry into the Texas Hill Country.
