Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge handled over 125 million inbound and outbound passenger trips in 8 years since opening

The report said that since the start of this year, inbound and outbound passenger flow at the port reached 25.4 million, 2.5 times the same period in 2019; total inbound and outbound vehicle flow exceeded 5.67 million, up more than 4% year on year, of which "Hong Kong vehicles heading north" and "Macao vehicles heading north" reached 3.3 million, accounting for 58%. Border inspection authorities estimate that for the full year 2026, the total number of Hong Kong and Macao single-plate vehicles will exceed 4 million for the first time, and total vehicle flow at the port will exceed 7 million for the first time.
