The Fourth Conference on Integrated Development of Transportation and Tourism Held in Chengdu

The 2026 (Fourth) Conference on Integrated Development of Transportation and Tourism was held in Chengdu, Sichuan, with the theme "Transportation and Tourism Integrate into the Future, Life Is Better," and exchanges were held around the development direction, industrial innovation models and practical paths of transportation-tourism integration during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. The conference released the transportation and tourism integration innovation book series "New Chapter of Shu Roads" and the group standard "Specification for Small Car, Small Group Tourism Travel Services," and announced the results of the "My Favorite Self-Driving Tour Route" activity, launching 37 quality self-driving routes. Follow-up reports used Guizhou's "small car, small group" and Sichuan Langzhong Jialing River water night tour as interviewed cases: Guizhou small car, small group tours form groups of 8 people or fewer and use passenger vehicles with 9 seats or fewer, customer satisfaction remains above 98%, and together with "branch-to-branch connecting flights" they serve the "fast access, slow travel" system; during the conference, Guizhou Provincial Tourism Industry Development Group, together with enterprises from eight provinces, regions and municipalities, released the "Qinglü Zhiyou" brand and the group standard "Specification for Small Car, Small Group Tourism Travel Services."
