BTS County-Level Freight Travel Time Database Expanded to 2025

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) maintains an experimental county-to-county travel time database, based on American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) data, estimating median, 25th percentile, and 75th percentile travel times for truck travel between more than 3,000 counties in the contiguous United States, and provides binned counts of truck crossings between counties. On October 16, 2026, BTS added 2025 data to the database, which is the eighth year of data in this dataset since 2018.
