Domestic route fuel surcharges raised from November 5

On November 2, 2026, the Umetrip APP received notice from airlines that domestic passenger air transport fuel surcharges would be adjusted from November 5: adult passengers would be charged 80 yuan per segment on segments of 800 km (inclusive) or less and 140 yuan on segments over 800 km, increases of 30 yuan and 50 yuan respectively compared with before. Infants entitled by regulation to 10% of the adult ordinary fare are exempt from the fuel surcharge; children purchasing 50% of the adult ordinary fare, revolutionary disabled military personnel, people's police disabled in the line of duty, and disabled fire and rescue personnel are charged 40 yuan per person on segments of 800 km (inclusive) or less and 70 yuan per person on segments over 800 km. On November 5, the new standard took effect as scheduled, and the report reconfirmed the above charging standards and reduction/exemption provisions.
