China Outdoor Sports Industry Development Report (2025–2026) released

On October 19, 2026, at the opening ceremony of the 2026 China Outdoor Sports Industry Conference, the China Outdoor Sports Industry Development Report (2025–2026) was released. The report shows that as of the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the number of outdoor sports participants in China exceeded 500 million person-times, and the total scale of related industries was approximately 3.17 trillion yuan. The report summarizes four major characteristics: strengthened industry policy guidance, accelerated consolidation of the venue and facility foundation, enriched supply of events and activities, and released vitality of the consumer market. The opening ceremony also released the China Beidou Outdoor Sports Event Management System and launched the Follow the Movies to Sports action.
