Taishan Daidong climbing-assist robot second generation launched

During the 2025 Spring Festival, the first-generation Daidong climbing-assist robot created by Taishan Culture and Tourism Group and Kenqing Technology appeared at Mount Tai, and has since served more than one million visitors. A report on October 28, 2026 stated that the second-generation product was officially launched on October 23, with the whole-machine weight reduced from 1.8 kilograms in the first generation to 1.2 kilograms, and the main unit shrunk to the size of a water cup; it is equipped with a full high-definition camera and a radar vision system, together with an upgraded 4-core processor main control chip, can recognize 9 types of terrain and 6 types of movements, and adds a reverse charging function. The second generation will also participate in the exoskeleton robot assist race of the first CMG World Robot Mount Tai Climbing Competition.
