DerbySoft completes hotel data integration Gemini pilot

On October 23, 2026, enterprise travel technology company DerbySoft announced the completion of a pilot with an undisclosed global hotel group to structure hotel data and connect it directly to Google's AI search experience Gemini. The pilot organizes hotel attributes, amenities, dynamic rates and rich media content into a machine-readable format, and uses DerbySoft's existing high-throughput exchange infrastructure connecting hotel CRSs with distributors and metasearch to provide real-time data, without hotels needing to build point-to-point LLM integrations. On October 29, Web in Travel reported that the project is codenamed Project Gemini, with a focus on making hotel attribute data accurately readable by generative AI. On October 30, TravelDaily China reported that DerbySoft announced the Google Gemini project has successfully gone live, led by DerbySoft's digital marketing solutions team, integrating real-time hotel data, content structuring and system connectivity capabilities so that generative AI models can accurately obtain hotel information. The name of the partner hotel group was never disclosed.
