Some Vrbo listings exempted, allowed to keep subscription plan

Vrbo will terminate its traditional subscription model on October 29. According to the latest report, some listings are exempted and may continue to keep the annual fee subscription, including some users of its own Escapia property management system, as well as other users not on Escapia. Most annual-fee-plan listings must convert to a 12% commission per booking after expiration. Vrbo said a very small number of listings meeting multiple conditions are retained under a "grandfather clause," but did not disclose the specific number.
