Meituan: Ski search volume up 125% year-on-year, southern customers' share rises to 55%

The report also mentioned that Koktokay International Ski Resort opened first on October 20, and in the 3 days from opening day, accommodation bookings in Koktokay town rose more than 30% compared with the previous 3 days. Another report the same day added that about 55% of ski-resort-area accommodation orders for November and December stays came from southern cities, up 11 percentage points from the same period last year; flight bookings from Chengdu and Guangzhou to Altay rose 67% and 183% year-on-year respectively. The October 29 report again mentioned that about 55% of ski-resort-area accommodation orders for November and December stays came from southern cities, up 11 percentage points from 44% in the same period last year; and said Altay's four major ski resorts launched a policy for out-of-Xinjiang travelers arriving by air this ski season: one free ski session within 5 days with a boarding pass.
