About 70 cities in 12 provinces nationwide announce autumn vacation arrangements for primary and secondary schools

Reported on October 13, 2026, about 70 cities in 12 provinces nationwide have announced autumn vacation arrangements for primary and secondary schools, with the holidays concentrated in November, using 3 days connected to weekends to form 4 to 5 consecutive days off. Around this holiday, Ctrip has upgraded full-category family travel services including flights, hotels, and study tours, while Tuniu has launched one-day tours and individual study tour products and newly opened four-day high-speed rail routes in Shanxi and Shaanxi. Industry insiders point out that whether spring and autumn vacations can become a boon depends on the supply side, and that the difficulty of dual-income families taking leave and product homogenization remain the main challenges.
