Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism Signs Smart Cultural Tourism Cooperation Agreement with Amap and Data Street Group

On November 4, 2026, the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Amap and Data Street Group signed a smart cultural tourism cooperation agreement in Dunhuang, to carry out cooperation in four directions: a smart cultural tourism portal, a featured street-scan ranking, a Gansu intelligent companion tour assistant and transportation-tourism data applications. Among them, the intelligent companion tour assistant relies on the Amap cultural tourism agent to provide, before and during trips, intelligent itinerary generation, personalized itinerary customization, route planning recommendations and off-peak guidance for scenic areas. The report also mentioned that in the Amap street-scan ranking 2026 annual list, Gansu had 11,930 listed merchants and destinations, covering all 14 cities and prefectures in the province. The agreement has currently been signed, and no reports on subsequent implementation progress have been seen.
