17th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival opens in Chongqing

The 17th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival opened in Wanzhou, Chongqing, on the evening of October 23, 2026, under the theme "Magnificent Yangtze · Poetic and Picturesque Three Gorges," co-hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Government and the Hubei Provincial Government. This edition adopts a three-tier system of "main activities + concurrent activities + district and county coordinated activities." The main venue's Wanzhou series of activities is concentrated on October 23–24, during which 17 cultural and tourism projects were signed and premium Greater Three Gorges "stringing beads into a chain" routes were released. From October 22–25, the 11th Chongqing Culture and Tourism Benefit Consumption Season Wanzhou special session is being held concurrently, with cultural and tourism consumption vouchers at the million-yuan level being distributed.
