TrayAway Room Service Tray Wireless Tracking Device Expansion

TrayAway launched a wireless tracking device for hotel room service tray retrieval; guests can call for retrieval with one touch, and the device notifies staff via hotel Wi-Fi, reducing tray stay time in corridors from several hours to a few minutes. The device was first deployed at the Fairmont hotel in Austin in 2018. According to a September 30, 2026 report, it has currently covered more than 300,000 rooms and is planned to expand to 1 million rooms in the next 18 months, with customers in more than 50 countries, using a subscription model costing several hundred dollars per month.
