Phu Quoc Expands Hotel Rooms for APEC 2027

Phu Quoc is undergoing large-scale expansion of hotel rooms to welcome APEC 2027. A report dated October 14, 2026 shows that local peak-season occupancy rates have already exceeded 90%. CBRE points out that to maintain current occupancy levels, local room-night demand must grow by about 10% annually through 2030, and achieving this goal after the summit will be more difficult, with some rooms potentially facing operational difficulties.
