Shanghai AI travel assistant "Huxiaoyou" launches and connects with more than 20 platforms

Reported on October 29, 2026, Shanghai launched the AI travel assistant "Huxiaoyou" ahead of the China International Import Expo, aggregating 36 major categories, 117 subcategories, and more than 84,000 items of cultural, commercial, tourism, sports, and exhibition resources across the city, and providing services in more than 10 foreign languages. The report said that since the mini-program was launched in March last year, it has served about 20 million domestic and international tourists, has connected with more than 20 commercial platforms including Ctrip, Damai, Jinjiang Hui, and Yunshanzhu, and plans to deploy a first batch of 100 offline service centers in key areas such as airports, hotels, and scenic spots, supporting payment in more than 120 currencies. Current progress is the announcement of platform connections and the plan to deploy offline service centers.
