2026 China International Confucius Cultural Festival Held in Qufu

From September 28 to October 7, 2026, the 2026 China International Confucius Cultural Festival was held in Qufu, Shandong, with the theme "Benevolence and Rites for All Under Heaven, Harmony and Great Unity," and was linked with the 2026 Nishan World Civilization Forum. On September 28, the Grand Ceremony of Public Sacrifice to Confucius was held at the Temple of Confucius in Qufu, commemorating the 2577th anniversary of Confucius's birth, and was linked with more than a hundred Confucian temples and academies at home and abroad for a "cloud sacrifice." During the cultural festival, activities such as the Study Tour Inbound Travel Agents Promotion Conference were also held, and the "Friendly Shandong · Canal No. 1" cruise ship made its maiden voyage at the Nanyang Ancient Town pier in Weishan, Jining.
