Wyndham and Travel + Leisure Partner to Develop Sports Illustrated Resorts

On October 5, 2026, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Travel + Leisure Co. reached a development partnership to build, operate and expand hotels under the Sports Illustrated Resorts brand in U.S. college towns and major city markets. The following day (October 6), it was reported that the two companies announced the partnership on Monday to develop Sports Illustrated Resorts into a hotel brand; the brand had previously relied mainly on timeshare and branded residences, with slow progress on the ground.
