Brazil's ANAC holds legislative intelligence and institutional action dialogue event

On November 4, 2026, Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) held the event "Anac and Congress: From Legislative Intelligence to Institutional Action" in Brasília, bringing together legislators, experts and Anac representatives to discuss the role of regulatory agencies in the legislative process. Anac director Tiago Faierstein called at the meeting for greater budget predictability for regulatory agencies and advocated passage of PLP nº 73. Claudio Cajado, chair of the Chamber of Deputies' Transport Committee, stressed that Congress and regulatory agencies should strengthen institutional cooperation.
