Choice Hotels Acquires RV Club Harvest Hosts for $130 Million

On September 30, 2026, Choice Hotels announced the acquisition of RV travel membership club Harvest Hosts for approximately $130 million in cash. According to Skift, this is Choice Hotels' first move into business outside of hotels, and the first acquisition led by Dom Dragisich, who formally took office as President and CEO last month; the seller is New York-based growth equity fund Stripes, which acquired the company for $37 million in 2021, along with other shareholders, and the transaction will be paid for with own cash and a revolving credit facility. Hotel Dive reported that the transaction is an all-cash acquisition of 100% of Harvest Hosts' equity, expected to close on October 1; Harvest Hosts connects RV travelers with more than 11,200 overnight locations such as wineries, farms, and breweries, and after the acquisition it will continue to operate as an independent brand, with CEO Joel Holland remaining in his position.
