Inner Mongolia Happy Ice and Snow Tourism Season Opens on November 7

Reported on November 4, 2026, the launch ceremony of the 2026-2027 Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Happy Ice and Snow Tourism Season will be held on November 7 in Genhe City at the Aoluguya Reindeer Tribe, presenting multiple categories of cultural and tourism activities including ice and snow folk customs, sports events, cross-border exchanges, and New Spring festivals. The launch ceremony site will feature a China-Russia joint artistic performance, the 12th Cold Pole Marathon, a forest fairy-tale wedding, and other events; in December, Yakeshi Phoenix Mountain will host the 22nd Autonomous Region Ice and Snow Nadam and the Hulunbuir Winter Heroes Meeting. Each league city will develop winter cultural and tourism products suited to local conditions, linking ice and snow, folk customs, border, hot springs, grasslands, and other resources. The event is currently still in the pre-launch stage, and subsequent progress remains to be reported.
