On October 25, the "China's Most Beautiful Country Road" Bashan Grand Canyon Cycling Hill Climb Masters Race kicked off in Xuanhan, Sichuan, with hundreds of riders challenging a 32-kilometer course with a cumulative elevation gain of 1,133 meters. The report said that riders with race credentials can visit Daxiang Cave and Taoxi Valley free of charge before October 31, and enjoy discounts on the "Dream Back to Ba Kingdom" performance; many stayed overnight after the race for in-depth sightseeing. Homestays along the scenic area are seeing a booking peak during the October to November colorful-leaf season, with visitor numbers and operating income rising steadily.
