During the 2026 National Day holiday, out-of-town visitors accounted for nearly 60 percent of tourists received in Quanzhou, a significant increase compared with the same period last year. The city launched more than 1,000 cultural and tourism activities and more than 100 benefit measures under the theme "Quanzhou Has Things·Slow Travel Slow Life"; among them, the Minnan Culture Intangible Cultural Heritage Week received a cumulative 214,100 tourist visits, and the Hui'an Hui Women Coastal Huian Music Season attracted more than 30,000 visits and drove nearly 50 million yuan in consumption.
