On October 20, 2026, Oman-based low-cost carrier SalamAir signed a distribution agreement with Amadeus to accelerate global expansion. Under the agreement, SalamAir will gain greater visibility and access to broader markets through Amadeus's network of travel sellers; travel sellers connected to the Amadeus Travel Platform can directly access SalamAir's fares and services. SalamAir Chief Commercial Officer Steven Allen said the move will strengthen its international market presence and reach more traveler groups. The agreement has been signed; the report did not disclose an effective date, phased implementation arrangements, or a specific list of markets.
