Hyatt Q3 2026 RevPAR up 7.2%, raises full-year outlook
Luxury drives Hyatt’s Q3 RevPAR growth above expectations
From October 29 to 30, 2026, Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced its third-quarter 2026 results. Systemwide revenue per available room (RevPAR) increased 7.2% year over year to US$154.80, and the U.S. market grew 8.2% year over year, exceeding expectations; average daily rate rose across all brand categories, contributing nearly 80% of the quarter's RevPAR growth. Business transient RevPAR increased 1% year over year, with September growth exceeding 4%; group RevPAR increased 8% year over year, and corporate negotiated revenue increased 4.8% year over year. Subsequent reports said that of the 8.2% U.S. market growth, about 50 basis points came from the FIFA World Cup, and adjusted EBITDA grew 19% to US$295 million. The company raised its full-year RevPAR growth outlook to 5% to 5.5%; earlier reports did not mention the prior outlook range, and subsequent reports said the range was raised from 3.5% to 4.5% given in July and was above the Wall Street analyst average expectation of 4.7%. CEO Mark Hoplamazian said luxury leisure business remains the main growth driver, but all-inclusive resorts are lagging, and said corporate group business is expected to grow about 7% year over year in 2026, with corporate group bookings for 2027 up nearly 10% year over year on the books. As of the end of the quarter, the development pipeline was about 158,000 rooms, a record high, and signings during the year increased 70% year over year.
