Nine Sichuan Departments Issue Implementation Plan for Tourism Public Services

On October 20, 2026, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and eight other departments jointly issued the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the High-Quality Development of Tourism Public Services (2026–2030)," proposing to strive to basically build a high-quality and efficient tourism public service system by 2030. The plan proposes gradually implementing "30-day no-reason returns" for offline tourism commodities, promoting moderate reductions in ticket prices at key state-owned scenic areas, and upgrading the "Smart Travel Tianfu" platform and improving self-driving charging and scenic byway transportation networks; by 2030, the proportion of electric vehicle charging spaces in tourist attractions that meet the conditions shall be no less than 10%. The plan has now been issued and is in the implementation promotion stage.
