Pan Fei stated that cafes and bars occupy less than 10% of hotel space but contribute about 25% to 40% of revenue. Jin Hangyong cited the Xuzhou New Century Mingdu Hotel as an example, saying its more than 400 rooms achieved a 98.5% occupancy rate this summer, and after renovating the Senbo Fantasy Land, room revenue share dropped to about 30%.
