Airbnb plans to restart high-end accommodation Luxe project

On October 6, 2026, Skift reported that Airbnb plans to restart the Luxe project for high-end accommodation or a similar project. Two listing managers who attended the invitation-only host meeting in San Francisco relayed to Skift that CEO Brian Chesky made the relevant statement at the company's second host summit last month. The report said the project was first launched in June 2019 and was interrupted in 2020 due to the pandemic. The project has not yet been officially announced as restarted; the report describes the CEO's statement and attendees' relay.
