Guizhou Provincial Government Approves the "15th Five-Year Plan" Cultural and Tourism Development Plan

Reported on October 23, 2026, the Guizhou Provincial People's Government recently approved in principle the "Guizhou Province '15th Five-Year Plan' Culture and Tourism Development Plan," which is to be issued and organized for implementation by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The approval requires focusing on the "three major elements" of resources, source markets, and services, deeply implementing the "four major actions" of tourism industrialization, and improving and building a modern tourism industry system; each city and prefecture must refine task measures, and important policies, major projects, and key projects must be submitted for approval according to procedures. Currently, the plan has received in-principle approval from the provincial government and has entered the stage of issuance and implementation.
