AACO and SITA sign MoU to promote AI baggage tracking service

On November 3, 2026, the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) and SITA signed a Memorandum of Understanding at AACO's 59th Annual General Meeting to provide AACO member airlines with SITA's WorldTracer® Bag Mate service. The service uses AI to handle routine baggage inquiries and refers complex cases to human specialists. Current progress is that the two parties have completed the MoU signing and announced the cooperation details; the report did not disclose an implementation timetable, phased arrangements, or specific member airline participation.
