Shanxi releases 12 autumn holiday study tour routes

On November 4, 2026, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism released 12 premium autumn holiday study tour routes, linking ancient architectural relics, landscape wonders and intangible cultural heritage resources across all 11 cities in the province, covering themes such as tracing civilization's origins, exploring ancient architecture, frontier military affairs, revolutionary memory, Shanxi merchant trade routes and Yellow River roots. The routes include hands-on components such as bracket set model assembly, Great Wall hiking and Yellow River water sample collection, turning textbook knowledge into real-scene courses and striving to create a "walking Huaxia classroom." The routes have now been officially released to the public; subsequent operation and participation have not yet been reported.
