InterContinental Taipei Hotel Opens

On October 12, 2026, IHG Hotels & Resorts and Farglory Group partnered to open InterContinental Taipei in the Taipei Dome Park; this is the second InterContinental project between the two parties after InterContinental Kaohsiung. According to IHG Newsroom, the hotel has 347 guest rooms and 7 dining concepts (including a restaurant helmed by Akira Back); classic rooms start at approximately 38 square meters, and residential-style suites start at approximately 76 square meters, equipped with full kitchens and in-room laundry facilities. The hotel is the InterContinental brand's flagship property in the Taiwan market, coinciding with the brand's 80th anniversary.
