Hainan Airlines Opens Haikou–Penang International Route

Reported on October 15, 2026, Hainan Airlines flight HU477 departed from Haikou Meilan International Airport at 17:30 on October 11, marking the official launch of the Haikou–Penang international route. The route is planned to operate 2 round-trip flights per week, with flights on Wednesdays and Sundays, and offers products such as prepaid baggage, onboard upgrades, and business packages. As of now, Hainan Airlines has opened and plans to operate more than 70 international and regional round-trip passenger routes.
