Nanjing received 524,500 inbound overnight visitors in the first nine months

Reported on November 5, 2026, Nanjing is expanding overseas source markets with the "Nice Nanjing" cultural and tourism brand; from January to September of that year it received 524,500 inbound overnight visitors, up 14.7% year on year, with tourism foreign exchange revenue of US$879 million, up 27.1% year on year. The report also mentioned that as of August, Niushoushan Cultural Tourism Zone had received 76,800 inbound visitors, up 42% year on year, with group tours up nearly 70%; Ctrip data showed that in the same period Nanjing's inbound visitor trips rose 25.3% year on year and spending rose 41.4% year on year.
